 Shaun has been painting and decorating at our house for a number of years. As the house is rendered, and until recently had wooden sash windows, there is plenty to do outside and inside. 'We asked Shaun to come and give us a quote to paint the exterior of our UK home whilst we were overseas working, the masonry and all the woodwork including the cladding as we had seen him working on many of the properties in Thaxted village - and we so lucked out!!!

I’ve written two testimonials. I don’t mind which one you use:

 

1) Shaun is a cheerful, charming, chap and a skillful decorator. If structural repairs are needed to doors or windows he helpfully draws these details to your attention and will fix them before applying any paint. Shaun will also give his input if you are unsure what colour paint to select. He has decorated both my office in Thaxted and my family home in Great Sampford. Shaun is a professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. 

2) Shaun looks like he would be just as comfortable up a tree as he is up a ladder. But don’t be fooled by his love of tie dye and hippie paraphernalia – he won’t paint rainbows on your house. Shaun likes to have a sing while he works but he really shouldn’t. He may be listening to West Coast Americana on his headphones but his voice is more West Country Apple Farmer. Not bad with a paintbrush though.
